hey Tara thanks for the comment on natual hair forum . Its spring time now but it still feel cold sometimes on the morning girl i am scared to get a head cold lol. But your right about the youtube videos . I had to get a few encouragement to stay focus on my goal. I had my btw on December 27 girl. But i will try the wash and go when it get hot. As for the recommendtion on the mositurizer i have to check it out i never heard of it but thanks for you advice girl.

My profile pic shows 7 years of being natural...This is my secret: people wash their hair like every week...I wash mine every 4 weeks...and my husband's. I think it's important to let that "dirt" that builds up to nurture the roots and scalp. Our hair is dry enough!!!
We started the natural process basically at the same time (well, I should say he started growing his hair out, he DID not have a perm, lol!) 7 years ago. Last year, hubby's hair was longer than mine!! We've been tight on funds being college students and having temporary jobs, so we kept the hair salon visits to a minimum...only going for trims every few months. That's our process! I mainly do double strand twists in his hair, and mine. It works for us! Nothing fancy! I'll post a pic of us on my page soon for you to see.
